Giving Back

When artbedo was conceived, I knew that I wanted part of this platform to give back to the community and benefit social change. The Downtown Eastside is a known neighbourhood in Vancouver that experiences disproportionate levels of poverty and marginalization. Within this population, 40% identify as women and 69% of them say they feel safest in women-only spaces.

A portion of all my profits will go directly to benefit the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre to support the work they are doing to provide a safe space for individuals in need. I hope to not only use this website as a way to share my artwork but also to help the communities that need it the most.
